Smith’s Machine has added advanced grinding technology to its array of state-of-the-art machines.

The ELB-America BD 10 STC Grinder offers both manual grinding as well as fully automated grinding cycles for mass production.

The BD 10 STC features automatic sequence control for roughing, finishing and sparking out. It allows for multiple plunge cuts, surface grinding with continuous infinitely adjustable cross feed speed.

New technology allows the Grinder to automatically compensate the dressing amount and the wheel wear. Stop of in-feed when reaching required dimension, adjustable spark out strokes for roughing and finishing. Read more…
